Catching Queensland Redclaw (aka Marron)

By far one of the very best baits for your Redclaw traps is potatoes. Yep potatoes.

Boil till very soft and flakey.

Not only is it a terrific trap bait in and of itself. The flakey potato creates a natural berely trail that leeds back to the trap itself.
